Research Interests:
My research focuses on the development and application of statistical methods for analyzing molecular sequences and high throughput genomic data. In particular, I am studying the information encoded in the genome that specifies patterns of gene expression and post-transcriptional processing. To understand how these patterns have evolved over time, I am also interested in comparative genomics.
