Dr. Phoebe Lindsey Barton completed her doctoral studies in Public Health at the University of California at Los Angeles. She is the Director of our Master of Science in Public Health Program which is one of the programs offered by the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics. Dr. Barton earned her M.P.A in Public Administration also at Boise State University (1977).

Dr. Phoebe Lindsey Barton has been with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center since 1990. Some of her past positions include: Director, Idaho Division, Mountain States Regional Medical Program. Director, Division of State Health Planning and Development for the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, and Assistant Professor, UCLA School of Public Health.
