
Dr. Richard Engeman is a graduate of Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, CO where he received his B.S. in Mathematics, (1973). He was awarded his M.S. in Statistics, (1975), also at Colorado State University. Dr. Engeman completed his Doctoral studies here at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, (1981).
Dr. Richard Engeman has been a member of our faculty in the position of Assistant Professor since 1986 and is currently working at the Bureau of Wildlife.
Dr. Engeman is a Member of the American Statistical Association. He was President of the Colorado-Wyoming Chapter of the American Statistical Association from 1984-1985. Dr. Richard Engeman is the incumbent co-founder of the Rocky Mountain SAS User's Group. He is an invited member of the Mu Sigma Rho Statistics Honorary and also an invited member of Phi Kappa Phi, National Honor Society.
Dr. Engeman is regularly invited to give talks on a variety of science topics to school classes in the Denver area and other parts of the country during visits to study sites and field stations. These presentations are given two to three times per year to grades between kindergarten to high-school seniors. Dr. Rick Engeman also, on occasion, represents the DWRC in interviews with the news media. These have included interviews with newspapers, radio and television stations.
