RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Grunwald participates in collaborative research with three groups:

The Center for Human Nutrition. In addition to providing investigators with support in statistical design and analysis, Dr. Grunwald conducts research in statistical methods in nutrition, particularly in the application of linear mixed models in the analysis of diet records.

The Cardiac Surgery Research Group at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Dr. Grunwald participates in several collaborative research projects aimed at evaluating factors that influence survival and condition following cardiac surgery.

The Biometrics Section. Dr. Grunwald is active in research in time series of non-normal observations.
