Steven D. Mark, MD, ScD joined the faculty of the Section of Biometrics and Informatics in October of 2005, as a Professor. He was most recently a Senior Research Investigator at the NIH.

Dr. Mark received his MD from Washington University School of Medicine-St. Louis in 1980. In 1987 he received an M.S. in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health. This was followed by an M.S. in Biostatistics from Harvard School of Public Health, in 1990. He received an Sc.D. in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health in 1991.
