Dr. Richard A. Wright is currently the Director of the Division of Community Health Services for the Denver Department of Health and Hospitals. He has been with the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics since 1990. Dr. Wright has also been an Associate Professor of Medicine with the Division of Internal Medicine here at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center since 1985.

Dr. Richard Wright is the Chairman of the Medicaid Advisory Committee with the Colorado Medical Society.

Dr. Wright is a graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he received his B.A. (1965), and also his B.S. and M.D. (1969).
