Dr. Mark Yarborough is currenty an Associate Professor and Director in the Program in Health Care Ethics, Humanities and Law here at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Yarborough is a graduate of Berry College where he majored in Religion and Philosophy and graduated with a B.A. (1977). He then attended the University of Tennessee earning his M.A. (1980), and his Ph.D. (1984) in Philosophy.

Dr. Mark Yarborough is a member of the Society of Health and Human Values and The American Philosophical Association. He is also on the Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board, he is the Chair of the Human Research Committee at CU of Denver, a member of the Ethics Committee for University Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Dr. Yarborough is also a Cardiac Transplantation subcommittee member, a member of the Infant Bioethics Committee for University Hospital and a Human Values and Ethics committee member for Rose Medical Center, Denver, Colorado.

A member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society while at Berry College, Dr. Yarborough graduated Cum Laude. He was Student Intern for the Program on Human Values and Ethics at the University of Tennessee, Fall 1979.
