Background Information:
Professor Lezotte has been with the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics since 1981.   He earned his degree at SUNY at Buffalo in 1976 when he completed his doctoral studies in Statistics under the direction of Dr Willard Clatworthy.   Before coming to Colorado, he worked for 6 years at the University of Florida in the Medical Systems Division of the Department of Pathology.   He is currently the director of the Bioinformatics PhD track in the Analytical Health Sciences PhD program.   His teaching and research interests are in the area of Health Information Technology and the use of clinical databases and information systems for medical decision support.
